Spring Valley alumna Kate Niehaus was the sixth runner across the finish line for Stanford at the NCAA West Region meet Saturday at Blue Lake Park in Fairview, Ore.
Niehaus placed 26th overall with a 6,000-meter finishing time of 22:08.54.

Northwestern alumna Angelina Blackmon finished 21st overall and 20th in team standings for the N.C. State Wolfpack at the NCAA Southeast Regionals with a 6k finishing time of 21:22.05. Blackmon's team won the meet with a score of 61. Blackmon was the Wolfpack's fourth runner across the finish line.
