Coaches,
After consulting with many coaches around the state, the Athletic Director at Spring Valley and looking at the weather forecast for tonight andtomorrow, the SCTCCCA officers have decided to cancel tomorrow's Bob Jenkins Coaches Classic. A lot of factors must be considered before making such decisions, such as loss of revenue for the coaches association, the cost of the meet if we were to start the competition, the travel time and expense of all of the schools involved to come to the meet and then have to cancel, and most importantly the safety of our athletes, coaches and fans. A few teams have already pulled out. Making a decision like this is not always popular, but please accept that we are doing so with the best intentions of everyone involved.
Entry fees will again be carried over to next year. If you would like your entry fee returned to your school, please email Ed Boehmke. Personal checks will be returned next week.
