Burke graduate Raven Saunders continued her winning season by capturing the shot put title at the USATF Junior Championships. Saunders had a best of 55 feet, 10.25 inches.
Saunders' throw is the third-farthest throw by a high schooler in history, usatf reported.

Saunders' win means she will return to Eugene for the IAAF World Junior Championships from July 22-27.
