scrunners: What kind of information have you received about IAAF World Youth Championships since making the team?
stowers: I have to go to Chicago to meet up with the team and compete in the USA Youth Championships.
scrunners: How often are you in communication with Team USA coaches?
stowers: Once a week.
scrunners: When do you leave for the Czech Republic and how long are you staying?
stowers: I'm leaving July 7 from Chicago and coming back on July 16.
scrunners: Are any of your family members making the trip?
stowers: My dad was going with me but something came up.
scrunners: Have you met or been in touch with your teammates?
stowers: Yes, I know several people on the team, we compete aganist each other at track meets.
scrunners: Have you heard anything about the meet atmosphere and/or competition.
stowers: The weather is in the 80-90 degrees. It is a very nice stadium.
scrunners: What are you looking to achieve at the meet and during the trip?
stowers: I want to win or place in the top three. I also hope to meet a lot of new friends all over the world.
scrunners: Have your coaches given an itinerary for the trip?
stowers: Yes, but my Coach KB Brown is in the hospital. We are praying everyday that he will get better.
scrunners: After Nike Outdoor Nationals, how has your training been going and has any training changed this summer?
stowers: I have been training two or three times a week and since my coach has been in the hospital, it has been different but I remember what he wanted me to do.
scrunners: With a long outdoor season, have you continued to stay motivated and energized during this time?
stowers: Yes, I have continued to stay motivated and more focused on my hurdles and I'm looking forward to going to the World Youth Championships and when I get back I will be going to California for the USATF National Championships.
scrunners: Have you had any major challenges this summers? Please explain.
stowers: Yes, I was surprised what had happened to my coach but it has helped me to train harder and be more focus.
scrunners: Do you know if me is alloted for sightseeing?
stowers: Yes, the team is going sightseeing for two days. So that should be a exciting experience for me because I have never been to Czech Republic before, but my mom has been there several times and she enjoyed herself.
