What made you decide to commit to Indiana?
It fits me best. I love everything the school offers and the atmosphere of it all.

What were your other top choices?
University of Louisville, Virginia Tech, and Coastal Carolina.

College commitments

What do you hope to achieve in academics and athletics?
I want to excel in both academics and athletics there.

What did you experience during each visit?
Everyone was welcoming at each visit. Indiana I felt most at home.

What would you recommend to others when choosing a college?
Everyone gave me the advice, "Go with your gut feeling" and "choose where you feel most comfortable" so I would pass that along to oncoming seniors.

What does it feel like to have the decision made?
It's such an exciting feeling to know where you're going to go. It's sad too, but mainly I'm just excited.

What do you hope to achieve this spring?
I've set goals for this season in each event. I hope to go high 11 in the 100, low 24 in the 200, and run a consistent 55/ 54 400.

Looking at your career at Hillcrest, what will you remember the most?
I've learned a lot from Hillcrest. I'm going to remember all the laughs and tears I've shared with my team, mostly.

What individuals in your life were involved in helping you make the decision?
God, my parents, and Coach Drique. They were all encouraging and supportive of my choice. We've all worked together to achieve what we have and I'm just happy to share it with them.
