ROCK HILL - A portion of a Rock Hill highway was named in memory of Bob Jenkins, longtime coach in the state, according to a press release from State Sen. Robert W. Hayes, Jr. (R.) earlier today.

Rawlinson Road from the intersection of Main Street to the intersection of Heckle Boulevard is the area named after Jenkins.
The press release stated, “Coach Jenkins' positive influence and selfless involvement in the lives of countless student-athletes will be evident for years to come. Please attend this much deserved recognition for a great coach and a great man."
