Seneca coach Tom Jordan, a 2008 SCTCCCA Hall of Fame inductee, has rescheduled the Golden Corner Invitational to April 5.
"Due to the impending weather, coach (Tom) Jordan has decided that we will reschedule the Golden Corner meet until Saturday, April 5," said Chris White. "If you have already sent us a check, we will hold it. We will keep your entries, and I’ll check for changes as we get closer. If you have any questions, please let us (meet management) know."
White also mentioned Jordan will try to contact coaches today.
Calhoun Falls, Crescent, Daniel, Greenville, Liberty, Mann, Palmetto, Seneca and Walhalla entered in the meet.
"This is the first time we’ve ever cancelled or postponed," said White.
Last weekend the Greenville-Spartanburg Relays was canceled around 11:15 a.m. due to inclement weather.
