Starting over: Editor has a goal for 2016 to run a marathon

My running lifestyle started in 1996 at Eastside in Taylors. After a few years of college running and becoming the editor of scrunners.com in 2001 life moved fast.

Back to 1999. I remember my high school coach telling us during the senior banquet don't stop running.

That semi-happened throughout the years and now at 35 it is time to continue with the sport. This year (December) I have a goal to run the St. Jude Marathon in Memphis, Tenn.

Will it be easy? Not really, but we all enjoy challenges and why not? So, the journey begins and check back for updates throughout the year including donation links to help St. Jude Hospital. No excuse, but I used this hashtag on social media in the past #webmasterlife has not been easy and won't change but I'm ready for the challenge and starting over.

So far this year my runs are around two to 2.5 miles with training partners (Ed Boehmke and Kelly Kidder).

See you later this year.

What goals do you have?
