"After a tough race at New Balance Indoor Nationals (
26th, (10:15 3K), it was encouraging to bounce back with a win and personal record," Morris said. "I had to learn from my mistakes and race from within. I was confident tonight, and I trusted my training. I've kept the pace in workouts, so I knew I could hold it tonight. I'm excited to start my last season strong. This win is a great encourager as I head into my final season. This is only the beginning. It's going to be a great year, and I'm blessed to continue to glorify God with this gift."
