University of South Carolina junior Liza Todd, a 2005 graduate of Dreher, jumped a personal best 12 feet, 9.5 inches in the pole vault during day one of the 114th annual Penn Relays in Philadelphia.
Wake Forest's Jill Ahrens was second (12 feet, 5.25 inches).
Todd's mark is a NCAA regional mark and second best jump in school history.
Brittney James, also a graduate of Dreher, led until the final jump in the Championship of America long jump finals, finishing as runner-up.
