This year\'s Trojan Relays has been cancelled due to track and field facility renovations at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill. The current rubberized surface is 10 years old.
Along with resurfacing the track the high jump area is being moved into the inside of the track facility. The high jump area is currently outside the track fence.
According to Head Track and Field Coach Calvin Hudgins the current high jump area is hard to supervise. The resurfacing procedure will take place during the last two weeks of March.
Northwestern High School is hosting the Region 3-4A Championships on Apr. 22.
