The 2004 Coaches Classic is set for Saturday at Spring Valley High School in Columbia. Spring Valley is the site host of Taco Bell on April 9 and April 10 and the 2004 Track and Field State Championships in May.
The South Carolina Track & Cross Country Coaches Association will be inducting two new members of the Coaches Hall of Fame at the meet.
The inductees are David Pratt (Woodruff, Dorman, Stratford) and William J. "Bill" Ramborger (SC School for Deaf & Blind). The induction will be at 1:45 on the infield of the track and field facility. All coaches are invited to come down onto the field to be a part of this honor.
The Golden Corner Invitational at Seneca and the Seahawk Invitational in Hilton Head are other meets occuring in South Carolina this Saturday.
Next up in South Carolina is the 28th Annual Track Classic at Beaufort, Azalea Invitational at Summerville, Furman Invitational at Furman University and the Golden Corner Invitational at Seneca on April 3.
