GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Jasmin Stowers finished first overall to defend her 100-meter hurdles title at Nike Outdoor Nationals Friday evening.
Brandon Sanders finished second overall in the emerging elite 100-meter dash to Anthony DeJean of New York. Sanders (10.83) and DeJean (10.80) broke the previous meet record from 2008.
Others from the state that competed in the meet include Jorde Farmer, Erica Peake and Brittney Waller.
Briana Nelson finished second in the 400-meter dash in 52.38 seconds.
