The adidas Outdoor Championships is taking place on the campus of North Carolina State University, located in Raleigh from June 18-19. This meet is assumed to be the nation's primary event that follows the standard high school season.
Spectators will be able to see high school athletes from all across the nation battle in his/her event(s), and perform to his/her fullest capability. Participating in the meet itself is gratifying because it takes great effort, talent, and dedication to compete on this level.
To be able to participate in the adidas Outdoor Championships you/your relay must be eligible. You have to be eligible by meeting the guidelines and qualifying standards. The qualifying standards are on the AOC website.
The meet starts Friday June 18 at 4 p.m. with the discus and track competition begins at 5 p.m. with the one mile racewalk. The first day of action concludes with the 4x200 meter relay. Saturday the meet will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the 4x1 mile relay. The field events start at 11 a.m. Saturday.

These athletes include: Dominick Bailey, Richard Williams, Rodney Lipscomb, Michael Rhue, Dmitri Virnig, Toma Walker, Dex Badgett, Andre Gladness, Andrew Gladness, Jonathan Chu, David Huckaby, Whitney Charles, Jessica Young, Polly Hardy, Brittney James, Nyoka Norman, Erica Adams, Myra Hawkins, Tempest Vance, Latricia Jones, Angelina Blackmon and Kate Niehaus, as well as many others.
