The 2022 national level of competition track and field meet held at Spring Valley has a new name, meet directors told scrunners recently. The date is set for April 8-9 next year.
The National Scholastic Athletics Foundation is a supporter of the South Carolina track and field meet.
The new name is the All American Track Classic sponsored by Little Pigs BBQ, John Jones told scrunners.com.
The meet previously changed sponsors from the Taco Bell Classic in 2017 to the Bojangles Track Classic.
The school recently upgraded the track and field facility with a mondo surface and hosted two of the South Carolina High School League Track and Field Championships in May.
