SCTCCCA parking update message sent Friday morning

SPECTATORS: If the grassy area is too wet to park, spectator cars will also park at Newberry High School and walk to the course. Remember- there is a $5 charge for spectator cars. There is a small paved area near the original grassy area that may be used first, but will fill up fast and we will move to the high school.

Although the rain seems to be pretty set for today, so far tomorrow looks to be okay. We are still planning to go on as normal. There will likely be some changes to parking depending on how wet the grassy parking areas get. Here is our back up plan - IF THE ORIGINAL AREAS ARE DRY ENOUGH, WE WILL STICK WITH THE ORIGINAL PLAN. BUSES: If buses can not park in the original field, they will drop athletes off and park at Newberry High School. If you are a coach who drives your own team- have a plan for how you can manage this as the high school is about 1/4-1/2 mile down the road. We know this is not idea- but that walk is better than getting your bus stuck in the mud in a field.
