COLUMBIA -- Shrine Bowl Run coach Tony Colizzi (Bishop England) announced the 2009 Shrine Bowl Run team following the South Carolina High School League State Cross Country Championships Saturday at Sandhills Research Center.
Six female and 20 male runners consist of the team that will run the Shrine Bowl game ball from Greenville to Wofford College on Dec. 19.
The team consists of for girls: Lauren DiNicola (Wando), Keely Gillespie (North Augusta), Clarricia Golden (Sumter), Alexa Neiling (Mauldin), Erica Segars (Daniel) and Jeanne Stroud (Bishop England). For boys, Morgan Bateman (Wade Hampton), Will Belue (Lexington), Brandon Easler (Dorman), Zachary Duskin (Dutch Fork), Parks Edwards (Mann), Drew Harris (Lexington), Austin High (Chesnee), Sid Houting (Bishop England), Kyle Koby (Woodmont), Jesse Kremmerer (Travelers Rest), Jake Lewis (Irmo), Bobby O'Brien (Stratford), Grant Pensa (Dutch Fork), Aaron Ramirez (Woodmont), Kody Ridley (Landrum), Jamie Sires (Airport), Andrew Spencer (Wade Hampton (G)), Tyler Tesch (Mauldin), Spencer Wallace (Hilton Head) and Chase Wolf (Dorman) round out the team.
Christ Church coach Rodney Adamee is serving as assistant Shrine Bowl Run coach.
