At adidas Outdoor Nationals in June, one of the top pole vault competitions of the season saw two of the nation's best square off across multiple heights.
Margaretta (OH) graduate Kenna Stimmel, the recently minted-National Federation of High School record-holder in the pole vault -- in a high school-only competition -- faced Charleston Collegiate's Tessa Mudd, who had defeated Stimmel for a national title back in March.
Neither had a single loss over the outdoor season.
