What does it mean to be named to the Shrine Bowl Run team and help the hospital?
I feel honored and thankful for the opportunity.
What did you hear about the Shrine Bowl Run before this year?
I haven't heard much about it but excited to see what its about.
What do you hope to experience during the event?
I'm excited to meet some of the people I race against but don't always get to talk to.
How are you preparing to run with a football?
I play football from time to time with my friends and I've played football before so I'm not too worried about that.
How would you rate your senior season?
I would give it an 8/10 because there were still some things I wish I would've accomplished but I still did a lot.
What future goals do you have?
I hope to hit 4:10 in the 1600 this track season as well as break two minutes in the 800.
Have you made the decision to compete at the next level? Please explain.
I have decided to run at Charleston Southern next year. I like their program and feel like I will be able to grow there.
How did you get involved with the sport and when?
My dad coached cross country my eighth grade year and forced me into it.
Do you have any relation or know someone that has attended the Shriners Hospital?
I do not.
How have you seen the sport change in the state? Please explain.
I feel like people keep getting better and better and especially in SCISA, the competition keeps improving.
What was your motivation for your final XC season?
My recruiting journey helped me keep my goals straight and achieve them.
If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
I hope to either pursue computer science or flip houses and become super rich and travel the world in a multimillion dollar yacht.
