What does it mean to be named to the Shrine Bowl Run team and help the hospital?
It is awesome to be in company with some awesome runners and I am honored that I was selected to be part of such a cool thing.

What did you hear about the Shrine Bowl Run before this year?
I heard that it is a relay with a bunch of seniors around the state that run the football to the Shrine Bowl.

What do you hope to experience during the event?
I'm excited to meet a bunch of other people and just enjoy the event as a whole.

How are you preparing to run with a football?
I played a lot of football when I was younger and I've recently started off all my runs by throwing the football around with one of my teammates.

How would you rate your senior season?
10/10

What future goals do you have?
To run at the college level and further improve as a runner physically and mentally. I want to improve my times to compete well at collegiate national meets.

Have you made the decision to compete at the next level? Please explain.
Yes, I am definitely competing at the next level, it's just a matter of where. I am reviewing my offers and am hoping to make a decision in the next couple of months.

How did you get involved with the sport and when?
I have always been involved with running including doing small local races and turkey trots but I really started taking an interest in the sport at the start of high school.

Do you have any relation or know someone that has attended the Shriners Hospital?
No.

How have you seen the sport change in the state? Please explain.
This year is my second year of XC in the state and it has changed a great amount. The competition has increased which means times are getting faster. I'm excited to see what happens around the state during the track season.

What was your motivation for your final XC season?
My motivation for my final XC was working with my team to bring home a state title. Even though we came up short with second, I still loved the journey with my team and enjoyed every moment with them.

If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
Competing in the Olympics, I don't think there would be a cooler thing than competing against the best athletes from around the world.
