"I am very excited to be number one in the country. This was the first time I actually had a real off season without other sports so was able to work on my speed and agility. I know the hardest part of being number one is staying number one and am looking forward to continuing to work towards that goal. The best part of track is that I can compete as an individual but can contribute to the whole team as well. I love the relationships have for with my teammates and competitors I have met all over the country! I am so fortunate to have a great school that supports me in academics and sports." - Brett Jones
