SPARTANBURG -- The Spartanburg Viking Relays slated for March 20 as opening of the school's new Mondo surface track will now take place at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind, coach Glover Smiley said Thursday.
Smiley told scrunners.com the venue change is due to the facility is not ready to host a meet.
"We don't have the lanes on the track at this time," Smiley said. He added it has been too cold to paint the lines at this time.
