Langston Charter's Ellie Granger, an eighth grader, won the 2025 Eye Opener girls junior varsity 5,000-meter run Aug. 30 at the Milliken Arboretum in Spartanburg.
Granger ran a 19:53, a personal best for the win, ranked 29th in 2025 Eye Opener girls results merge.

Granger started running cross country in South Carolina in 2023. Granger's first race was the 2023 Eye Opener where she finished first in the junior varsity race with a 21:25.
Granger is the third-fastest eighth grader female cross country runner in South Carolina.
