Kate Niehaus (Spring Valley), Liza Todd (Dreher) and Claire Young (Thornwell) competed at the Clemson Invitational this past Saturday.
Niehaus, finished first in the 3,000-meter event, in 9:59.36 with Georgia State\'s Andrea Smith second in 10:37.27.
Todd and Young finished one and two, respectively in the women\'s pole vault. Todd cleared 10-11.75 in the vault while Young cleared 10-06 in the event.
The high school outdoor track and field season starts this weekend with the Beaufort Relays, Greenville-Spartanburg Relays at Dorman, Father Kelly Classic at Bishop England in Charleston and the Sumter Optimist Relays.
