Spring Valley's William Ivey signs with Furman

scrunners: What made you decide on signing with Furman? 
ivey: I decided on a number of reasons, but mainly because when I visited it just felt right and I could definitively see myself as a student there, also the guys on the team at Furman are great.

scrunners: What other schools were you interested in? 
ivey: I looked at Wofford, Davidson, and Clemson in addition to Furman.

scrunners: What did you learn from the experience? 
ivey: I learned that what you want really comes actually comes to you.

scrunners: How has training been since cross country?
ivey: We've been really hitting the ground running since the the beginning of December, and the workouts are the most intense I have ever run.

scrunners: What would you like to do this weekend? 
ivey: This weekend I'm competing in the 4x800, 1600, 800, and 4x400. If run parallel to how I've been training, I should been in contention for both open events and we should be close in both relays due that the guys running are ex...
