scrunners: How and when did you get involved with track and field?
morris: I started in 2008, my eighth grade year.
scrunners: What do you remember for your first year in the sport?
morris: I wasn't very good. I was told by throws coach, Scott Martin, to go to with the sprinters. This disappointment almost led me to quit doing track all together.
scrunners: How have you seen yourself progress over the years?
morris: I have gone from someone that couldn't even get in the top three of my own school my eighth grade year, to the S.C. Class AAA state champion my sophomore year.
