Saturday updates

Christal Green finished fourth in the 200 finals (24.77) and third in the 400 finals (53.54) at New Balance Nationals.

Chris Brown finished second in the boys triple jump (50-6). Imani Brown (Pa.) was first (50-6.75). C.J. Davidson finished sixth (48-5.50) and Shai Carpenter jumped 46-10.75.

Christal Green finished first in her heat of the 200-meter dash preliminaries with a personal best time of 23.96 (w +0.4) seconds. Octavious Freeman (Fla.) ran 23.99 (w -0.7) in the third preliminary heat. Green's time is the fastest going into the finals. Brandon Sanders did not run in the 200 preliminaries.

Friday update
Chris Brown (Hanahan) finished second in the boys triple jump championship event at New Balance Nationals, three-quarters of an inch off first place finisher Imani Brown (Pa.) (50 feet, 6.75 inches).
