Greeley Posts Qualifying Mark, Finishes Second at VT Invitational

Clemson sophomore Mitch Greeley posted an NCAA provisional qualifying mark in the pole vault with a clearance of 17-02.75 during day two of the Virginia Tech Invitational Jan. 14.

Greeley, a former Northwestern HS athlete moved into second place in Clemson history in the pole vault with his clearance and second place performance to Spencer Stephens (Carolina Extreme, 17-06.50).

Clemson is hosting the Clemson Invitational Jan. 20-21 and a high school invitational Jan. 28.

J.L. Mann alumna Amberly Nesbitt posted a school record and automatic qualifying mark of 7.26 in the semi-finals of the 60-meters. Nesbitt, a sophomore at the University of South Carolina did not compete in the finals.

Indoor nationals is slated for March 10-11 in Fayetteville, AR.
