ROCK HILL -- Mr. Yodell Calvin "Y.C." Winborn, 71, of 1655 Fieldcrest Circle died Friday, Feb. 10, 2006, at home.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at West End Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery.
A native of Wetumpka, Ala., Mr. Winborn was a son of the late Astor and Doris Winborn. He attended Gadsden, Ala., schools and was a graduate of Clark Atlanta University. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon and trustee.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn B. Winborn; his daughter, Wendy White of Charlotte; two brothers, Charles Winborn and John Winborn, both of Gadsden; his sister, Maxie Tanksley of Gadsden; and his grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Rock Hill High School and other times at 1399 Banks Road in Fort Mill.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bearcat Backers, 320 W. Springdale Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
