Number pick up and waiver sign: Sat. Oct. 1 from 7-8:30 a.m.
Race starts at 9 a.m.
Brief description
The Nettles Park course consists of two loops of mostly grass terrain with a 15 yard section of asphalt which runners will cross twice. Except for one short, steep hill (about 30 yards long), the course is generally flat with a gentle down hill section just after the mile mark.
Safety guidelines
Insurance does not cover the following; therefore they are not allowed: headphones or radio headsets, strollers or baby joggers, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, & animals. This is a cross country race with uneven terrain. The race is primarily for competitive runners and not recommended for recreational runners.
5K AWARDS
Top three men and top three women. Gift certificates: $75 for 1st; $50 for 2nd; and $25 for 3rd.
