Meet management important notes
2. Only enter those runners that will travel and race. We have to pay for every runner entered!
3. Parking will be different this year, so please follow the directions of the parking attendants on Saturday.
4. Please inform your parents that parking will be $5 per car, even if try have a runner with them.
5. OFF LIMITS AREA is the entire parking area. Coaches will sign a sheet at packet pickup stating that they are aware of this off limits area. Any teams or athletes hanging out in the parking area will be disqualified from the event. This is a request of Sandhills and we will enforce to be sure we can continue to use this great facility.
6. Remind your athletes that this is a research facility, and that they to stay out of the corn fields, the Bamboo sector and any other site marked for growing purposes. Pulling up any of their stuff will be a decision of Sandhills on how they will proceed with the infraction.
7. There will be police on site if any issue arises. EMS will be on site. Trainers will be on site.
8. T-shirts will be sold on site.
9. Coaches need to have your teams to the starting area at least 10 min prior to the start for uniform check-in. The VPs will do all checkins Saturday. Varsity teams need to be in full matching uniforms and abide by all uniform and jewelry rules.
10. Please keep non-racers away from the starting area and coaches must leave their team box at the 5min call.
11. JV runners need to have a school issued uniform. They do not need to match but need to follow all other uniforms and jewelry rules.
12. Entry fee deadline is today. Any entry fee not received by today will be issued an additional $50 late fee, that must be paid on Saturday in order to pick up your packet and/or race.
13. Please police your area prior to leaving and pick up all trash and bag it up.
14. We will be using chip timing and coaches and athletes are not to bring the numbers inside the finish area.
15. Athletes can not be added the day of the meet. A 1 for 1 swap will be allowed. Please write the race number, the old runner and the new runners name and give it to the registration table. Do not bring into the finish area.
16. Remember we will have SCISA & SCHHAA teams present at this meet.
