Rules and other information
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! PASS THIS ON TO YOUR ATHLETES & PARENTS:
PACKET PICK-UP
Packets will be available starting at approximately 7:45am.
**DO NOT COME NEAR THE FINISH LINE WITH ANY RACE NUMBERS!!!!!!!!!!!**
(This can/will set off the timing system!)

8:30am JV/Open Girls
9:10am International Girls
9:40am Championship Girls
10:20am International Boys
10:45am Championship Boys
11:15am JV/Open Boys (Grade 7-9 ONLY)
11:50am JV/Open Boys (Grade 10-12)
12:30pm Awards, ACOY, HOF Induction, Ice-Bucket Challenge!
VARSITY RACES
--Your Top SEVEN runners only
--COACHES determine which race (Championship / International) your team should be in
(International races should be teams hoping to finish Top-10 in State)
PARKING
$5 per car. Let your parents know!!
We will also be taking donations for ALS at this time.
OFF-LIMITS AREAS
--Areas that are NOT part of the course and/or team area are OFF-LIMITS! Please help us keep our relationship with Sandhills solid!
--Please stay OUT of the gardens and bamboo areas.
--The PARKING area is OFF-LIMITS to athletes! (this is for their safety!). Please set up your team tents in the designated area and remind athletes to NOT warm-up in the parking area.
If you're uncertain about an area, please ask!
DO NOT CUT THROUGH THE FINISH AREA (ATHLETES, PARENTS, & COACHES)!!
STARTING LINE & RACE RULES
--Coaches/Parents must leave the starting area 10 minutes prior to race time.
--Athletes MUST be checked in AT the starting line by meet officials (SCTCCCA Officers)
--Race bibs MUST be worn on the front of the uniform
UNIFORM & JEWELRY RULES
--VARSITY runners must ALL wear identical uniforms (ALL 7 RUNNERS). This includes under-armour, under-shirts, leggings, tights, etc. that are visible (sports bras and socks do NOT have to be identical)
--JV/Open runners must wear a SCHOOL-ISSUED uniform, but do NOT have to be identical
--NO JEWELRY IS ALLOWED (SCHSL rules). Non-metallic watches are OK.
--Headbands can ONLY be SOLID color and SOFT material.
