More SCISA schools enjoying running success Oct 6, 2014

Watch practically any high school cross country or track event in the state and chances are the name of at least one, and more often several, SCISA-member schools and their student/athletes will be mixed in with their peers on the public school side at or near the top of the final-results list.

S.C. xc teams raise over $1K for ALS Sep 14, 2014

Over 200 runners raised over $1K for ALS from an ice bucket challenge following the SCTCCCA Bob Jenkins Coaches Classic. The association and athletes are challenging other state associations. The official amount was $1,686.83 after $500 donation from SCTCCCA.

Ferré, Slann lead Class AAA boys returners Jul 31, 2014

Hilton Head's Cisco Ferré and Daniel's Jacob Slann are the top two returners for Class AAA boys in cross country. Four of the top eight Class AAA returners have a 5,000-meter run time under 16 minutes.

scrunners and the SCTCCCA will be acknowledging the runner of the week each week throughout the season. A panel of coaches from throughout the state in each classification will be submitting their recommendations and then voting on the runner of the week each week.
