Members of the South Carolina Track and Cross Country Association meet today and tomorrow in Greenville as part of the SCACA Clinic to discuss the upcoming cross country season and track and field.
The South Carolina Track and Cross Country Coaches Association released preason rankings this afternoon.
MileSplit recently released top runners for the Foot Locker South Championships in November.
Myers McKinney is ranked 33rd in MileSplit's top runners for the 2014 Foot Locker South Championships with a best of 15:34.
Riverside coach and outgoing South Carolina Track and Cross Country Coaches Association president Eric Cummings has been nominated to the associaton's hall of fame along with Lexington's Bailey Harris.
Hilton Head's Cisco Ferré and Daniel's Jacob Slann are the top two returners for Class AAA boys in cross country. Four of the top eight Class AAA returners have a 5,000-meter run time under 16 minutes.
