Region 2-4A Qualifier/Championship
When: April 27-28th 2016(rain dates our 29th/30th)

ALL entries for the Region 2-4A must meet the following guidelines for their times/performances:
Milesplit verified from current season.
Paper copy of meet results (must bring to seed meeting) with another Region school in attendance to verify. Also from current season.
A time or performance that is not verified by one of the above methods, the athlete/team will receive a 'NT'/'ND'/'NH' and seeded as such.

Seeding Meeting: The meeting is optional, but if you wish to help seed the meet
please plan to be at Byrnes on Monday April 25@ 6:00.
Coaches Meeting: 4:30 at the finish line.
General Information:
Prelims will consist of the 100/110 Hurdles, 100, 200 meter sprints. The winner of each heat along with the next five fastest times will make up the final.
Starting blocks will be provided. Only ¼ inch spikes will be allowed.
Order of events will be girls preceding boys for all races.
Scoring will be 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
For the field events, each athlete will receive three attempts (prelims). The best nine will receive three more attempts (finals).
Bus Parking will be behind the football stadium only.
Team tents will be allowed only in the football stadium, on the outside of the football field. Bleachers on the track will be used for spectators only.
Warm-ups can be done on the football field. Limited hurdles will be placed on the field.
No warm-ups on the infield of the track. Only athletes checking in with the clerk or participating in shot/discus will be allowed on the infield.
Track warm-ups will be closed at 4:45(after coaches meeting).
A PA system will be used for announcing calls of track events and can be heard on both the track and warm-up field.
Concessions stands will be open.
The gate price will be $5 a person.
Gates at the top and bottom of the track will be open for public entry.
Implement weigh-in will be from 4:30-4:45pm. All implements must be weighed in. Any athlete who uses an illegal implement and/or an implement not weighed in will be disqualified. Rule 6-2 Art 17.

NOTHING WILL BE RUN AHEAD OF SCHEDULE EITHER DAY!
COACHES: YOU WILL VOTE ON REGION T&F COACH OF THE YEAR FOR THE GENDER YOU COACH. ALL FORMS ARE DUE TO MATT FEILING BY THE END OF THE 4X400.
ALL-REGION: 1ST AND 2ND PLACE OVERALL ARE NAMED ALL-REGION
QUALIFIERS: TOP 5 IN EACH EVENT MOVE ONTO THE 4A QUALIFIER.
