Meet Information
REGISTRATION:
You will register online at scrunners.com. All entries must be in by 4/23/2017. Registration has be reopened 3 times now. Coaches, there's no excuse for not taking care of your athletes and getting them entered into the meet.
You may enter 4 athletes per event and you may have 6 athletes on your relay teams.
An athlete may be entered in at most 4 individual events. They may be registered in 3 individuals and 2 relays but once they compete in one relay, they will be scratched from the other relay. Registering an athlete in an event constitutes competing in that event. So if you register an athlete in 3 individuals and 2 relays, they would only be eligible to do one relay, as they have already competed in 3 individual events regardless of whether they ran the event or not.
We will not do any substitutions on the day of the meet only scratches.
Each school is being asked to provide at least one person to assist at the finish line. We have an asphalt surface.
Field Events: 2:00pm start
We will need the following events covered: Long Jump, Triple Jump, Discus. Waccamaw will cover the pole vault, high jump, and shot put events.
Track Events: 2:15 start
Please make sure you relays are in the same uniforms and if they are wearing undergarments they have to be the same color. The undergarments must also be a solid color. See attached rules. The one and done false start rule will be in effect.
We will be using a 3-turn stagger for the 4x400m. We also need three zones covered for the 4x100.
See attached paperwork and rules from the high school league. These forms were emailed to you.
The head coach must turn in a signed form for each team (boys and girls) stating that they have discussed the rules with their team.
