Meet Information

ClemsonInvitational High School Indoor Mile, 400 meter and 200 meter races. January 24-25th, 2020. Clemson University IndoorTrack Facility.
Competitors will compete on one of the fastest indoor tracksin the nation. The 200 meter banked Mondo track yielded three NCAA all-timerecord performances in the past two years.The High School races will be during the Bob Pollock CollegiateInvitational Meet so it will be a great opportunity to be see top collegiaterunners in the nation and be seen by coaches of nationally ranked collegiateteams. This High School Mile Invitational will be chosen from a field of 12 tophigh school runners in the region. Target minimum seed times will be less than 5:20 for girls and 4:40 for boys. There are no target times for the 400 meterand 200 meter races but the top 8 runners with verifiable times from the pastyear will comprise the field. The 400 meter invitational will be on Friday,January 24 and the Invitational mile and 200 meters races will beon Saturday January 25.Runners will be notified by January 18 if theyqualify for the Invitational Races. Entries should be sent to pdawson@clemson.edu by January 10. This will be an open event so all runners will rununattached and will not represent their High School.
