2nd Annual Irmo Relays
Meet Information:
Irmo will be hosting the 2nd Annual Irmo Relays this cross country season at Rawls Creek-Mungo Park on October 10th. This meet will feature a different style of racing that will bring in the fun of relay races to the cross country course. The meet will include the varsity 5x2000m relay, JV 5x2000m relay, and the JV open 2,000m. In the varsity race each school can provide two teams of 5, an "A" and a "B" team. The JV race will consist of one team of 5. The open 2,000m is planned to be mixed gender (as long as numbers allow).
Time Schedule:
8:00am - Girls Varsity A & B Relay
8:45am - Boys Varsity A & B Relay
9:30am - Girls JV Relay
10:15am - Boys JV Relay
11:00am - Boys & Girls Open 2Km
Registration
We are limiting entries to 12 boys and 12 girls teams. The cost of this meet will be $55.00 per gender or $100.00 for both. Check will need to be written to IRMOXC Booster Club not Irmo High School. They can be mailed to 6671 St. Andrews Rd, Columbia SC 29212.
Awards:
- Varsity Relays: Medals will be awarded to the top two "A" and top two "B" teams. Trophies will be given to the top three overall teams.
- JV Relay: Trophies will be awarded to the top two teams and medals awarded to the top team.
- JV Open: Medals will be awarded to the top 5 male and female individual
