COVID-19Guidelines

SPECTATORS will be allowed but are required to wear masks at all times. Those who refuse to wear masks will be asked to leave.

Spectators should maintain appropriate 6 feet social distancing between family groups. We encourage spectators to spread out over the entire course to insure maximum space in between family groups and individuals. The course is two 1.5 mile loops, so there is an abundance of space.

ATHLETES must wear a mask at all times unless they are warming up, cooling down, or racing. Athletes will wear a mask on the starting line until 5 minutes before the race. At this time, the runners will take their mask off and put it around their wrist/arm until they cross the finish line. When they have finished, they will have a moment to catch their breath, but must put their mask back before they leave the stadium.

We ask that there be no group huddles where athletes are touching one another.

Team areas will be located on the grassy area between the Greer High School track and fieldhouse.

Athletes must bring their own water bottles as no water will be provided on race day.

Any athletes not wearing a mask after being given a warning will be disqualified from the race and will be instructed to leave school property.

COACHES must wear a mask at all times. Any coaches found in violation of this after being given a warning will result in their team being disqualified from the race.

Restrooms will be open, but limited to a maximum number that will be allowed inside at one time. Those waiting must wait outside the restroom 6 feet apart.

Runners and their families will be encouraged to leave after their event.
