Meet Information
REGION 8 AAA TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS
MEET WILL BE HELD AT CANE BAY HIGH SCHOOL
TUESDAY, MAY 3RD
5:00PM START
REGISTRATION:
You will register online at scrunners.com. All entries must be in by Thursday, April 28TH at 11pm
You may enter 4 athletes per event and you may have 6 athletes on your relay teams.
An athlete may be entered in at most 4 individual events. They may be registered in 3 individuals and 2 relays but once they compete in one relay, they will be scratched from the other relay. Registering an athlete in an event constitutes competing in that event. So if you register an athlete in 3 individuals and 2 relays, they would only be eligible to do one relay, as they have already competed in 3 individual events regardless of whether they ran the event or not.
We will not do any substitutions on the day of the meet only scratches.
Heat Sheets:
I will have heat sheets available as soon as possible. The meet will start at 5:00 p.m.
Field Events: 5:00pm start
I will send out info about field event coverage
We will be weighing in all throwing implements
Track Events: 5:30 start
Please make sure you relays are in the same uniforms and if they are wearing undergarments they have to be the same color.
We will be using a 3-turn stagger for the 4x400m. We also need three zones covered for the 4x100.
The head coach must turn in a signed form for each team (boys and girls) stating that they have discussed the rules with their team.
