Race with the Sharks 2022

SPECTATOR PARKING: Parking attendants will direct
spectators to parking along the side of the road by the fence into Sgt Jasper
Park.

BUS PARKING: Buses will drop athletes at the race
start, 1620 Red Dam Road, Hardeeville, SC, 29927, and will then proceed to Red
Dam Baptist Church, 488 Red Dam Church Road, Hardeeville, SC 29927, at
which point the bus will TURN AROUND and park on the right-hand side of the
road. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED MAP.

COACHES MEETING: 8:30 am in the finish line area.

RACE RULES/TENT SET UP: WE ARE RACING ON A BEAUTIFUL
PIECE OF PRIVATE PROPERTY. All athletes and spectators will please be
respectful of the grounds. Please do not leave trash on the ground. Please do
not throw rocks from the road into the yard. Please see the attached map to
view the race course, tent set-up area, start and finish lines.

CLOSED COURSE: Please note that the portion of the
course around the sides and back of the lake is CLOSED. Only coaches and the
athletes participating in the race are allowed at the start. This will keep the
course clear, so athletes have the best opportunity to run very fast times. Spectators
will remain in the front area of the property next to the driveway/dirt
road/finish line to see their athletes run by 3 times. The start area is CLOSED
to all spectators and non-competing athletes.

WATER COOLERS: We will
have water coolers at the race finish line.

FOOD/DRINK: The booster
club will be selling drinks and homemade treats the morning of the meet. We
will also have coffee from Corner Perk. We will accept cash and credit cards.

WAIVERS: We are competing on a private property.
Please have your athletes/parents sign the waivers and turn them in when you
pick up your numbers. If your athletes/parents do not sign the waivers, the
property owner cannot allow them to run.
