Ticket Information:

We will be having a tailgate during the meet located behind the track in the baseball loop. There will be a $5 entry fee to enter this if you would like. We are also selling tailgate spots for parents and patrons. These spots are $45 and this will include the spot and 4 tickets to the event. To get these tickets you will need to text me at 814-233-0891. For all other guests they will have to purchase tickets through the ticket link found here:

I will close the entries by Thursday at midnight. We will also be adding a JV mile for both boys and girls which will be run at the start of the meet. This will not be scored and is an opportunity for you to get another mile time on some of your athletes. Start time is 9:00 am. You can register these as soon as you would like.

We will have a Coaches meeting at 8:45 am and begin promptly at 9 am. We will be on a rolling schedule. Make sure your athletes know the schedule so they are at the event upon calls.

Payment:

Teams must pay for this meet. $150 for both teams or $75 for one. Checks payable to Aiken High Booster Club. I will accept these the day of if needed.

Concessions:

We will be making pancake breakfasts for $5. We will have a variety of venders for lunch! 

Awards:

There will be medals for top 3 in every relay event and the top 3 athletes the field events. First and second place boys and girls teams will receive trophies and there will be a travelling trophy that goes for the most points between each state. Therefore, if SC has the most points together then they win the border brawl! The traveling trophy goes to the boys and girls teams that have the most combined team points for their particular state

Parking:

Please have your busses park in the baseball field loop. This is where you will let you athletes out as well.

For the field events we will

take entries for 3 athletes per event.  The scores for each team in the

field will be based on adding the top marks for each athlete together giving an

overall total distance per team. 

Scoring will be top eight and

an athlete can only compete in at most 4

events.

The top three in each field

event and relay will medal and 4th-8th place will receive ribbons.  The

first and second place teams from each division (boys and girls) will receive a

trophy at the conclusion of the relays. The overall state

(Combination of points from team South Carolina or team Georgia athletes) will receive

a trophy for the BORDER BRAWL CHAMPION. Site for trophy

display will be determined later.
