Online Registration Instructions
South Florence invites you and your team to the 28th Annual Pee Dee Classic Cross Country Invitational. The event will be held at Freedom Florence. The course is a trail run around a pond and through the woods. Course map will be available at packet pickup and online. Please register early, as there will be a cutoff according to the number of athletes registered- safety is a priority.
The course at Freedom Florence is a true cross country course consisting of of packed earth, grass, sand, and gravel trails. The trails go through the woods and there are turns to be aware of. The course is marked with permanent trail markers that are white posts with blue tops and arrows. There is also additional signage and bright colored marking tape blocking off areas that might look like a turn.
If your team or if you have athletes that have not run this course before, it is in your best interest to allow 30 -45 minutes to walk the trail before the race.
Varsity races will allow 7 athletes; JV races will have unlimited entries. The cost is $55 for one team and $100 for both boys and girls teams. If you do not have a full team and still want to participate, the cost is $10 per runner. Per SCHSL, unattached runners will no longer be able to compete.
Awards ceremony will take place after the meet.

- GIRLS5K JV 10:00 AM
- BOYS 5K JV 10:30 am
- There is the possibility that Boys and Girls JV may be combined depending on the number of athletes competing. If so, the race will begin at 10:00 AM. Be sure to check in with director when picking up your team packet.

All entries must be in by September 19th.
- Day of race, buses will be directed to park in the circle loop drive. The parking lot has been changed this year. Volunteers will be on site to direct you.
- T-shirts will be available for purchase the day of the meet. $10 cash only
- Athletes will have access to their own restrooms inside the baseball field complex. Area will be marked and monitored.
