Invitation to the 2026 SCHSL Middle School Track & Field Invitational - April 26
Dear Coaches and Athletic Directors,
The South Carolina High School League is excited to invite your school to participate in the 2026 SCHSL Middle School Track & Field Invitational on Saturday, April 25, 2026. This special postseason opportunity is designed exclusively for middle school student-athletes and does not count as a regular-season meet. Athletes remain fully eligible to participate in meets following this event.

This year's invitational will be hosted at Lugoff-Elgin High School:1284 US 1, Lugoff, SC 29078
Entry Details
- Each school may enter up to 3 athletes per individual event.
- Each athlete may participate in a maximum of 3 events.
- Entry Fee: $15.00 per athlete OR $150.00 for teams with 10+ athletes.
- Payments are to be made to SCHSL.

Important Highlights
- All buses and cars should enter between the middle school and high school for parking.
- Kershaw County enforces a Clear Bag Policy-please notify families and participants.
- A food truck and concession stand will be available on site.

Awards
- Medals awarded to the top three in each event
- Top eight recognized during the awards presentation
Special Middle School Meet Notes
To ensure fairness and consistency for all competitors:
- 100m Hurdles will be contested for both boys and girls at middle school hurdle heights.
- Boys will be at 33 inches and Girls will be at 30 inches
- Discus weight: 1kg
- Shot Put weights: 6 lb. and 4 kg
- SCHSL will provide all implements for official competition.
- Athletes may use their own implements for warm-ups only.
