Starry Stride Invitational 2026

Due West, SC
Hosted by Dixie
Timing/Results Fast Feet Timing

Meet Information

 Meet Information:

(This is not the same course or location of our previous invitational. This will be on the campus at Dixie HS in Due West and will be a mostly flat, fast course.  There are no switchbacks like the course in Donalds.  We will do our best to have some goats here, but no promises).

The  Start/Finish Line for the races will be inside the football stadium.  This is a 2 lap course. Our track was once a clay track that is now covered in turf.  The race will be a fast course with only one uphill that is not very long and you will do that spot on each lap.  There are two places where you have to cross roads on campus, but other than that, the course is all grass or gravel.  Most of the course is the turf track in the football stadium, baseball field, softball field, and a practice field.

We will have the Erskine College Cross Country teams as volunteers at the meet.

Fan friendly, it should be easy to see a lot of the course from the stands in the stadium.  Coaches (1 per school for each race) will be able to go to the top of the press box and from there you can see 99% of course).

Limit:  The field will be limited to 10 schools.  Please email Warren Hammond whammond@acsdsc.org for password and if you have any questions.

Trainer:  We will have a trainer from PlaySafe at the meet.

There is a bus circle behind the visitors stands of the stadium.  You will go around that circle and then back towards Abbeville St.  You will exit back on to Abbeville St after the meet. The first buses to arrive will be directed through that circle before you park for the meet.  You will be able to unload your bus near the ticket booth before proceeding to park.  After completing the circle, you will come back towards Abbeville St to park next to the building.  You will be able to pull straight on to Abbeville St to exit.  The later buses will be directed to park along the fence to your right as you are entering campus and will do the circle when leaving the meet.
