Gamecock Open 2011

South Carolina track and field has announced that it will host the Gamecock Open Meet this Wednesday, April 6, at the Weems Baskin Track facility. The one-day, afternoon meet will feature various teams from the state of South Carolina with the hammer throw scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. and running events scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

Eight teams participated Wednesday afternoon at the Gamecock Open Meet at the Weems Baskin Track on the campus of the University of South Carolina, and the Gamecock track athletes put together top finishes in the final home meet of the 2011 season.
