What made you decide to sign with NGU?
I signed with NGU because it is a Christ-centered campus and that is very important to me. I felt at home when I visited this school and coach Bayne was very encouraging.
Where else did you look?
I looked at several colleges all over the southeast. Last summer after USATF Junior Olympic nationals, my mom and I took a road trip to visit colleges. We looked at South Alabama, Troy, Western Carolina and Georgia Southern, just trying to get a feel for the schools. After visiting those schools and meeting the coaches, I realized I probably didn't really want to be that far away from home. So I looked at colleges a little closer to home, Queens, Winthrop and North Greenville.
What was the college experience like in terms of recruiting?
The recruiting process was so very exciting. I thoroughly enjoyed traveling and meeting the coaches and athletes. I went on official recruit visits to Georgia Southern, Winthrop and Queens...
