When scrunners.com announced the "Team SC" singlet opportunity Quan "wanted one real bad."

Not thinking about ordering the singlet until the last minute, Quan was eager to get one soon.

In order to send the payment in for the singlet, Quan did not travel via car to get a money order and mail the payment. Instead, Quan decided to run for a money order because he "didn't have a ride."

"I also didn't think that it would be very long to get the money order, so I just went for it," said Quan.

Instead of another option, waiting until someone could come home to bring Quan to the store, he said, "There was, but I didn't want to be lazy at home, so I just ran."

Quan mentioned it was a little over a mile to get to a local Piggly Wiggly and was in and out in about five minutes. After that, he ran to to mail the money order, which was about a half mile away. "After that, I was on my way back home, which was another half mile," said Quan.

Quan said the trip took place on roads in Emerald, some with high traffic, and lasted 30 minutes, but mentioned, "it was nothing I was not used to."

SCRunners.com will place another "Team SC" singlet order in the future.
