Riverside girls 2nd at Disney, Williams wins; Smith, Dominick 1st in S.C. meets

Mauldin’s Ryan Smith finished first in 16 minutes, 17 seconds at the Gene Mullin Invitational on the Furman golf course. Boiling Spring’s Tyler Fish finished in the top 10 (eighth, 16:51). The Mavericks finished fourth in the team competition. 

St. Joseph’s girls finished second in the varsity race with 93 points to champion Milton (Ga.) (48). The team averaged 20:22 and had a 1-5 split of 1 minute, 52 seconds. 

Annika Bissinger led St. Joseph’s with a fourth place time of 19 minutes, 18 seconds. Woodmont’s Emma DeRoberts was fifth in 19 minutes, 23 seconds. Pinewood Prep’s Maryah Nasir finished ninth (19:48).
