Former Olympic marathoner Bill Rodgers was the keynote speaker during 2009 Furman Blue Shoes Dinner on April 10 that kicked off Saturday's Furman Invitational.
Rodgers, according to furmanblueshoes.com, is known for winning the Boston Marathon and New York City Marathon four times between 1975 and 1980.
